Mental Health Awareness Week

This Mental Health Awareness Week, MetMUnch has brought together some exceptional colleagues to demonstrate the kindness, collaboration, ambition and creativity that characterises Manchester Met, to produce a fantastic resource that aims to help people with a holistic approach to wellbeing.

Aligned with Manchester Met’s five strategic themes of place, ambition, partnership, community and sustainability, the collaboration has brought together the Sport, Environment, Catering and Counselling teams, alongside MetMUnch students and graduates from various levels and courses, to highlight the importance of nutrition and positive behaviors in supporting mental, physical and social wellness.

Each day we will be releasing a new blog which focuses on a different nutrient that research has found to be beneficial for wellbeing. Each day will have a delicious recipe linked to the nutrient and there will also be a sustainability & wellbeing tip, as well as a workout to help.

This year the theme is kindness, so please join us for a week of doing random acts of kindness through knowledge, support, food, exercise, gardening and positive behaviours. What will your random act of kindness be?
